Brief Introduction to the Discipline

常州大学石油与天然气工程学科是江苏省内唯一主要研究油气生产与储运理论与技术的学科，学科特色 鲜明，填补了江苏省内同类学科的空白，是江苏省“十二五”、“十三五”重点（培育）学科，涵盖油气井工 程、油气田开发工程、油气储运工程三个二级学科。本学科主要学科方向包括油气藏工程、钻井工程、 油气生产工程、油气储运工程。 

The discipline of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering of Changzhou University is the only one in  Jiangsu Province which mainly studies the theory and technology of storage and transportation of oil  and gas. Its distinctive characteristics filled the gap of thisarea in Jiangsu Province. It is the key  (cultivated) discipline of the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plan of Jiangsu Province, covering the following 3  sub disciplines: Oil and Gas Well Engineering, Oil and Gas Field Exploration Engineering, Oil and Gas  Storage and Transportation Engineering. The main research direction of the discipline includesOil and  Gas Reservoir Engineering, Drilling engineering, Oil and Gas Production Engineering, Oil and Gas  Storage and Transportation engineering. 

本学科拥有一支经验丰富的研究生导师队伍，具有较强的科技创新与成果转化能力；拥有“石油钻采与储 运工程（国家级）虚拟仿真实验教学中心”、常州大学-中国石化华东石油局工程实践教育中心（国家 级）、国家安监总局“油气储运安全技术创新中心”、江苏省油气储运技术重点实验室、江苏省油气井口装 备工程技术研究中心、江苏省油气储运工程实验教学示范中心、江苏省石油与天然气工程实践教育中心 等实践教学和科研平台，并与苏净集团等企业共建了多家江苏省研究生工作站。学科教师先后承担国家 科技支撑计划等国家级项目和江苏省产学研前瞻项目、中石油科技创新基金等省部级项目。

Thefaculty of the discipline is a team of experienced graduate tutors with strong ability of scientific and  technological innovation as well as ability ofcommercialization of scientific and research findings; It also  owns a lot of practical teaching and scientific research platforms such as virtual simulative  experimental teaching center for Petroleum Drilling&Production and Storage&Transportation  Engineering(national level), Changzhou University-Engineering Practical Education Center of East  China Petroleum Bureau of Sinopec (national level), Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Safety  Technology Innovation Center of the State Administration of Safety Supervision, Key Laboratory of Oil  and Gas Storage and Transportation Technology of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Oil and Gas Wellhead Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center, JiangsuOil and Gas Storage and  Transportation Engineering Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, JiangsuOil and Gas  Engineering Practical Education Center and so on. Meanwhile together with Sujing Group and other  enterprises the faculty hasbuilt many postgraduate workstations. Teachershave undertaken state-level  projects such as National Science and Technology Support Program, provincial-level projects such as  the Prospective Projects of Industry, Education and Research of Jiangsu Province, the PetroChina  Science and Technology Innovation Fund Program”.
