孟兴邦，美国德克萨斯理工大学博士，一直从事提高采收率、非常规油气开发、CCUS等方面的研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金青年科学基金1项、山东省自然科学基金青年项目1项、山东省自然科学基金面上项目1项、博士后科学基金面上资助项目1项、其他横向合作项目10余项。在JPSE、Fuel、SPE Reservoir Engineering、Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering等行业内高水平期刊发表学术论文15篇，授权发明专利4项，兼任Energy&Fuels、SPE J等SCI，Physics of fluids期刊审稿人。
